We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the technical lead for Infrastructure & Operations, reporting directly to the Global Head of Cloud Operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, security, and performance of our IT systems, including HelloID, EntraID, Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft O365 suite, and desktop support. You will oversee technical relationships and SLAs with outsourced IT partners, provide advanced troubleshooting and incident management, and lead automation initiatives using PowerShell and other tools. Additionally, you will manage IT assets, collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement innovative technologies, maintain compliance with security policies, and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for Infrastructure & Operations, proactively ensuring the health, security, and performance of IT systems, including HelloID, EntraID, Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft O365 suite, desktop support and Datacentre consolidation and transitions.

  • Oversee technical relationships and SLAs with outsourced IT partners responsible for delivering global IT infrastructure and support services, ensuring optimal operational performance;

  • Provide technical guidance on advanced troubleshooting, issue escalation, and incident management, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of complex technical challenges;

  • Lead automation initiatives using PowerShell and other automation tools to streamline internal processes, enhance productivity, and ensure robust application management.

  • Ensure accurate tracking, management, and reporting of all IT assets, coordinating closely with external providers to maintain a secure and efficient asset management lifecycle;

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge technologies, staying at the forefront of innovations to meet evolving business requirements;

  • Maintain and ensure compliance with security and IT policies, procedures, and documentation, including security protocols and regulatory requirements;

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including provisioning laptops and IT equipment for new hires, deactivating accounts for offboarding employees, and coordinating the return of IT assets.

Competencies are key, but to be successful in this role you need to bring a few essentials to kickstart the conversation:

Key experience

  • Proficiency in managing IT systems such as HelloID, EntraID, Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft O365 suite, and desktop support;

  • Familiarity with managing outsourced IT services, including performance management and escalation processes;

  • Familiarity with PowerShell or comparable scripting/automation tools;

  • Proven experience in IT management or a similar role, with a strong focus on vendor and partner management;

  • IT certifications (e.g., Azure, ITIL) are a plus but not mandatory.

As we have a hybrid working policy in The Netherlands, we expect you to be at the office in Rotterdam at least twice a week.
