The Opportunity
As our People & Culture Officer , you will manage global HR operations, with a primary focus on payroll processing across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. You will lead HR initiatives, such as performance management, annual salary reviews, and HR audits, while maintaining and optimizing our HRIS (Personio). Additionally, you will manage global onboarding and offboarding processes, oversee employee engagement efforts, and support the development of competitive compensation and benefits packages. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced global environment and aligns with AnywhereNow’s core values.
What you'll be doing
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees globally and manage the People & Culture inbox together. You will not do this alone, our People & Culture Business Partner and People & Culture Director are there to support as well!
Lead and manage key HR projects outlined in the annual HR calendar;
Oversee global payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and company policies;
Support and initiate global compensation and benefits initiatives to ensure competitiveness and equity;
Maintain and optimize our HRIS (Personio), ensuring agile HR processes that enhance the employee journey (for example: leading implementations of new modules);
Manage and improve the Employee Journey by amongst others owning the global onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions;
Lead and support HR audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.

You'll need to bring:
Experience managing payroll for a global workforce, ensuring compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and company policies, preferably across multiple countries;
Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Personio), with a focus on payroll integration and workflow optimization;
Understanding of Dutch labor laws, and payroll requirements in a global context; understanding of US and UK labor laws is a plus
A minimum of 2 years in HR operations, with a focus on global payroll management, compliance, and compensation & benefits.
Some last notes
As we have a hybrid working policy in The Netherlands, we invite you to our office in Rotterdam twice a week. However, if you would like to work abroad for a few weeks, that would of course be possible (in our internal policy you can find more info about this). Or if you're just not feeling it, that week, to come to the office - no worries! We all have our good and bad days.
