Job description
We are looking for a Renewals Specialist who loves coordinating all the pieces of the renewals process, providing our customers with a seamless renewal experience meeting their objectives and timelines.
As a Renewal Specialist you are the backbone of the renewal lifecycle: driving accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration. This role primarily works behind the scenes to streamline operational processes, supporting the account teams, ensure compliance with pricing and policy standards, and bring business insights through forecasting, tracking and analysis. The Renewal Specialist is critical to securing revenue continuity and enabling customer success. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to client engagement
The ideal candidate should have a background in renewals or revenue operations within the software industry (SaaS).
Key roles and responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success Manager, Partner and Back Office teams to facilitate smooth, timely and tailored customer renewals.
Manage renewal pipelines in our Dynamics CRM, through Renewal Opportunity records, preparing renewal quotes, pricing configurations, and amendments
Continuously improve data and record health as you work through ensuring client contacts, contracts and renewals process data points are accurate, and reinforcing best practice across other teams
Forecast, track, analyze and report on a rolling year forecast of renewals
Use analytics to evaluate performance, identify risks, and improve retention strategies. Leverage insights to support retention, risk and expansion strategies

Competencies are key, but to be successful in this role you need to bring a few essentials to kickstart the conversation:
At least 1 year of experience in revenue operations or renewals;
At least 2 years of work experience within the Software industry: CPaas, UCaaS, or SaaS in a scale-up environment;
Experienced with the basics around laws & regulations, VAT, and electronic billing;
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics365 CRM, Microsoft Excel, and Monday.com;
Proven experience with identifying key insights from complex data, presenting data visually through charts and graphs, and bringing to life impacts and understandings.

Some last notes:
Currently, this role is remote. However, we are also planning to open an office in South Africa, where you will be expected to work on-site at least two days a week once our office is operational.
